Brian Oppenheim
With over 30 years’ experience in education Brian has worked closely with Ofsted and senior leaders in schools and local authorities. As a Director of School Improvement, Brian has in-depth knowledge and experience of inspection methodology, school improvement and school effectiveness in the UK and overseas.
Christopher Deane-Hall
A former headteacher, Chris has extensive experience of leading Ofsted inspections, supporting the work of local authorities, and providing consultancy and training to schools in the UK and overseas. Chris particularly enjoys training schools in Effective Classroom Observation and has recently developed the ‘From Self-Evaluation to School Development’ training programme to fully streamline self-evaluation for schools.
Marian Prior
Formerly a deputy head, Marian had wide experience in education including curriculum management, accelerated learning techniques and psychological approaches to learning. She is an Ofsted inspector has co-authored a range of training courses including ‘Every Child Matters’ and the 'Good Teaching, Successful Learning' teacher training packs.
Nan Billingham
A former deputy head, Nan is a skilled inspector, consultant and trainer. She has co-authored several of our training courses and is leading on Assessment for Learning strategy and ‘Motivation’.
Grant Pedrick
Grant has worked closely with schools for over 30 years. Previously a headteacher he has worked intensively with schools to improve their skills and knowledge in Performance Management, lesson observation, RAISEOnline and Using Data. On the Isles of Scilly, Grant acts as a literacy consultant, Extended Schools co-ordinator and supports staff on the use of data analysis to inform learning strategies.
Dan Buckley
As a principal consultant and R&D lead for Cambridge Education, Dan specialises in the areas of personalisation, change management, student empowerment, student leadership and school design. He was recently commissioned by Microsoft to write their future schools visions as part of the Microsoft BSF envisioning guide and has written for the TES, ‘Teacher’ and ‘Leadership Matters’ as well as numerous online key note papers. His latest publication, the ‘Personalisation by Pieces Framework’ (PbyP) is a student empowerment, competency based curriculum model which is backed up by a set of web based tools suitable for mobile devices. These have already received acclaim as "a breakthrough in personalised learning".
Penny Holden
A former headteacher and until recently the Director of Schools for a London Borough, Penny has worked closely with Ofsted in developing new inspection processes. She has leadership and management experience at school, youth service and local authority levels.
Roger Brown
Roger has worked closely with schools for over 30 years and was a headteacher. He regularly leads inspections and has worked extensively in the USA. His consultancy work includes training on behalf of the National College of School Leadership.
Angie Cook
Having enjoyed diverse teaching and leadership opportunities within a range of schools, including those for young people with additional learning needs, Angela is an experienced inspector of both mainstream and independent schools. She is much involved in international work and is committed to developing and facilitating courses for teachers wishing to incorporate the global dimension into the school curriculum.
