Southwark 14-19:  Modelling of Costs for Delivery of Diplomas

We are piloting a financial modelling tool to help LAs and their partners in schools, colleges and work based learning to establish the costs of teaching Diplomas in their area.

This has been developed in conjunction with a LA and utilises a wealth of experience in needs led formula funding. The model takes account of the key variables associated with providing Diplomas and figures based on actual local costs are then used to generate a robust costing model. Other LAs are already expressing an interest in this work.
