Malawi: Improvement of Basic Education Programme
Cambridge Education provides the services of a resident education adviser in Malawi to a GTZ-funded project managed by our German partners, ECO-Consulting Group.
Project duration: 2004 to 2007
Cambridge Educations adviser is based in the Department of Teacher Education and Development of the Ministry of Education. The technical assistance involves performing all phases of consultancy work for the implementation of the non-formal education component of the Malawian-German Basic Education Improvement Programme.
The work of the adviser involves planning, drafting terms of reference, organising, managing and supervising short term missions of national and international education experts, supervising the German contribution to the non-formal education programme, producing regular reports on all technical, methodological and conceptual issues and monitoring the project results and impacts, managing project funds provided by the client and establishing quarterly financial reports. |
