Girls' education

Cambridge Education provides continuous policy support and technical assistance to governments and international partners on improving educational access and learning outcomes for girls and those children who are hardest to reach.

Our work in this area, at basic and secondary education levels, includes:

• studies and analyses relating to gender mainstreaming and girls’ education
• designing gender-sensitive projects
• evaluating girls' education projects and integrated activities, which seek to increase enrolment, attendance and learning outcomes for all children.

Cambridge Education’s track record in girls' education includes work to develop gender-sensitive supplementary readers, implementation of condition cash transfers and inclusion of gender-awareness training for teachers.
